BEST MOVIES TO WATCH ON HALLOWEEN - #012
Cole McCormack of Firewood Media and Billy Rowlands of Woodstock Roadshow teamed up to create a list of their favorite movies to watch around Halloween. These don't necessarily have to be horror movies but films that just have a general Halloween vibe or aesthetic to it. Some of the movies we'll be talking about in detail include the Hideki Anno kaiju masterpiece Shin Godzilla as well as Ti West's throwback slasher movie X which stars Mia Goth, Jenna Ortega, and Kid Cudi. Other films in this list include Tim Burton's Frankenweenie, Sam Raimi's Evil Dead, and iconic 80s flicks like Ghostbusters. This may or may not be a shameless rip off of what Meat Canyon and Wendigoon did around a year ago.
DAIKAIJU RUMBLE - #011

I recently had the chance to sit down with Chris McDonald, the creator of Daikaiju Rumble, an upcoming light novel that’s been nearly ten years in the making. It's currently being crowdfunded on Kickstarter, and I wanted to help spread the word because this project looks absolutely incredible.
AN INTERVIEW WITH ZAK MENZIES - #010
The Batman: Harvest Moon is a fan film that I absolutely adore. So, I decided to sit down and have a chat with one of the directors behind the project, Zak Menzies!
THE HIDDEN GENIUS OF TRANSFORMERS - #009

The Michael Bay Transformers movies (often referred to as The Bayformers by fans) carry a bit of a negative reputation. Back in the early days of YouTube, channels like Jeremy Jahns and Chris Stuckmann would rip these movies to shreds. Now, while the sequels may not be all that great like Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen and Transformers: Age of Extinction, the first film in the franchise actually holds up really well. So much so, I consider it to be secretly genius. Join myself and Gabe as we talk about why we love Transformers.
IS ANALOG THE FUTURE OF HORROR - #008
Given the rise of analog horror with series like THE MANDELA CATALOGUE, GEMINI HOME ENTERTAINMENT, and LOCAL 58, Dylan Osvatic and Cole McCormack been doing a lot of thinking about the longevity of analog horror. How does SKINAMARINK and the upcoming A24 adaptation of the KANE PIXEL series THE BACKROOMS affect the genre; both good and bad?

WOODSTOCK ROADSHOW - #001

On this month's episode of Firewood Mediacast, Cole McCormack is joined by director Billy Rowlands and composer Jimmy Giardinazzo of the Australian filmmaking posse known as Woodstock Roadshow to discuss their new film,
"Does This Taste Like Degreaser To You?".

The film follows Bernie and Val, two young scammers on a road trip, where every sale seems to be a success until they scam the father of a dangerous tow truck driver who goes out on a hunt to catch the two conmen.
