Career Minor Leaguer is a 2022 American sports short film, written and directed by Cole McCormack. The film stars Nick Richards, Sam Blessing, and Jesse Gruber. Additional technical work by Zak Menzies (Menzies Productions) and Layla Nowak.
The movie follows Tyler Lopes, a struggling Major League Baseball player dealing with severe anxiety attacks and low self esteem due to a poor performance at the major league level. After not being invited to Spring Training, he contemplates quitting the game altogether and giving up on his lifelong dream.
