THE COMPLETE SERIES
Whitewater's Wild History

Episode 1 of A Town Called Whitewater explores the history of the titular midwest town with the following description:

The Whitewater Archives has been throwing out old VHS tapes in these large totes. Figured I would take it off their hands and try to digitize them. Granted, most of these tapes won't even play and the ones that do are just boring stuff like old commercials and lectures. Found this tape from the 80s in the one of the totes. Was wondering if anyone else has seen this. My guess is that it was used at an employee orientation of some sorts. Kinda cool info in here that I had absolutely no idea about!
Student Film

Episode 2 of A Town Called Whitewater follows two student filmmakers named Cole and Joe who are in the process of making a documentary about the Starin Water Tower from 1993. The tape was salvaged and given the following description:

Found this tape in the Whitewater archives. Looks to be an incomplete project of sorts by some local film students.
Figured I would upload it here in hopes either Cole or Joe are still around and can give some context as to what the purpose of this tape was...
Lazarus Initiative

Episode 3 of A Town Called Whitewater is a documentary created by the Wisconsin Spiritualist Collective going over the secretive Lazarus Initiative. The tape was described as such:

This is an old documentary from fall 1990 that I found in the Whitewater Archive bin. Kinda weirded out by this one. The tape delves into this weird cult-like objective of enabling participants to attain eternal life. Not sure what went on in the middle portion of the tape, I think someone might have recorded something over it...
Monstervision

Episode 4 of A Town Called Whitewater at first appears to be nothing more than an old segment from TNT Monstervision 1999. However, the segment is cut short by a different recording...

This is an old TNT Monstervision promo segment from winter 1999 that I found near the bottom of the archive bin. I think this might be lost media or something because I don't see any other uploads of this on YouTube. Looks like it's the very end of The Wasp Woman leading into some event for New Years. Super interesting stuff! There's one tape left and I'll try posting it in September...
The Y2K Incident

Episode 5 of A Town Called Whitewater is found footage of the world ending in the year 2000. The tape was described as such:

This is the final tape that I found in the bin. I'm not even sure what to say honestly. All that talk about the world ending in 2000 had to have been a hoax...right? I really have no way of explaining this.
